Ritz, one of the oldest and most prestigious resorts in the world, is closing its doors for the winter and has asked guests to pack their bags.
The resort will be closing for the first time in more than a decade at the end of February, according to a news release.
The resort is located in the heart of the heartland, and is one of Canada’s most popular attractions.
It has hosted world famous shows, concerts, weddings, sporting events and special events since its opening in 1996.
The company, which opened in 1959, was a Canadian division of the Walt Disney Company, which also operates Disneyland Resort in California.
It had about 3,400 rooms, including a spa, dining room and bar.
Ritzy had hosted a lot of big events in recent years, including the Super Bowl, the Grammy Awards, the Sochi Olympics and the Women’s Marathon in Moscow.
