For the third straight year, Lutsen Resort Resort is the first resort in the resort’s history to experience the dreaded winter season.
The resort is hosting its first ever outdoor skating event with a free, one-hour skating lesson on Saturday, January 11, 2018.
The rink will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will be operated by the Lutsens Ski Company.
In addition to free skating, Lutens Ski will also offer an array of food trucks, a gift shop and a variety of other activities.
In a video posted on the Luten Resort’s Facebook page, Lutzen Ski owner Tom O’Brien shared the following information about the event: It’s an outdoor skate event.

We have over 1,000 acres of land that is absolutely perfect for this event.
We will be hosting a free and fun outdoor skating session on Saturday.
It’s one of the few times we will have a snow day in the entire resort.
LutsEN Ski Company is located just outside of town in Kirkwood, Colorado, and is owned and operated by Tom O. and the Lutzens family.
There will be an opening ceremony, a ribbon cutting ceremony, and a celebration on the ice.
All of the food and beverage trucks will be located on the main ice rink, as well as a gift store.
The event is open to the public, and will run until 11:00 a.k.
The Lutsenes ski company is known for producing top-of-the-line products, and they have a deep and passionate following that has been building up for years.
Lutenes Ski is located on private land in Kirkland, Colorado.
The company operates the Lutesen Ski Resort, which is the world’s largest snow-free ski area, with an elevation of over 6,300 feet.
