Posted August 10, 2018 05:00:24With their first wave of holiday visitors in tow, beachfront Palm Spring Resort & Marina is set to close its doors for good on August 15, 2018.
The resort has been a fixture in the Palms for nearly two decades, hosting dozens of weddings and parties, and has been featured in various television shows and feature films.
But on August 20, 2018, the resort will close.
The resort will be transformed into a resort hotel, and will open its doors to guests with an announcement to be made this week.
The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce and the Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Department are working with Palm Springs County to bring the resort back to life.
Palm Springs Mayor John Muir said that he has been looking at options to reopen the resort for a while.
“I know there are a lot of people who want to come back to Palm Springs,” Muir told ABC 7.
“There are a couple of things that we’re looking at.”
The resort will still be open for tours and dining.
But all visitors will have to get their own accommodations.
For the first time since it opened in 1999, Palm Spring has announced that it will not be hosting any more events at the resort.
The city of Palm Springs will be hosting its own celebration on August 19, 2018 at the Westin Hotel, but the city will not hold its own wedding or other events there.
The city of Sunrise also plans to host its own event.
The town will hold its first event of 2018, and organizers said that they will hold a reception for guests on August 13.
The event will be held at the Palm Center for the Arts, and a parade will be on hand.
The Palm Springs City Council also approved a plan to lease out the property, which has been owned by the city since 2009.
This will give the city the option to sell the property for $6 million and turn it into a hotel, which is also expected to generate millions in new tax revenue.
But there will be a lot more to do at the site.
The new plan will allow for the demolition of the original hotel, the construction of a new hotel, as well as a new, larger hotel at the same location.
The town also plans on building a new golf course.
